It is with great pleasure that we announce our fifth release 'Silver Screens' to be released on the 19th of June 2020 through Solitude Productions.
Like all of our albums, we were met with great adversity in completing it due to technical limitations and disturbances. We have overcome these however to present to you an album full of beautiful melodies and heavy riffs; not unlike our previous efforts, yet totally different.
This new sound was achieved by a greater merging of our writing styles to provide a more diverse experience.

The artwork was created by our good friend Ashley Williams who has expressed through acrylics the spirit of the album, representing the sound through the colour palettes which were envisioned whilst writing and recording 'Silver Screens'.

Le temps des métaphores est révolu : l'humidité froide, c'est celle des larmes qui coulent sur le visage à cause de la dépression. Tout pleure dans cet album : les guitares typées DSBM grésillent, les solos ("The Damp Chill of Life", "It's Painless To Let Go") sont liquides et coulent, les voix prennent à la gorge ; même le piano, étranglé par les sanglots ("Cease"), est aphone. AOTY for me Paradoxically, this is such a soft and soothing album. The way the guitars and synth are EQed and mixed create a plush, warm blanket of emotion. When I listen to the melodies and chord progressions, I feel a sense of security and respite. This is solace reified in sonic form. This is an immersion in painfully hot yet relaxing water. This is safety found within the unknown. This is...heavenly form honestly. One man's hell is another man's heaven I guess. benmoshin
